A '100% cashmere' label is no guarantee of quality. There are many grades of cashmere quality just as there are diamonds, gold and other precious materials. The cashmere business can be a murky world where traders blend all manner of short cashmere, yak and other natural fibers to achieve a higher margin or a lower price. It is crucial that our Co Founder, Adam Holdsworth, who has spent his adult life dealing in cashmere, can pick up a hank of cashmere and with his naked eye, tell you its market value within a few cents.
